Tango arrived in Xanthi in 2003 with a small group of children, who created Tango Aires.

After five creative years of effort and lessons with famous teachers such as Diego Mastrangelo, Fabian Ballejos and Gina Nikolitsa, and Edouardo Bojo and Misha Simoni, the group joined with other members in 2008 to create the Argentine Tango group of FEX, the oldest cultural association of the city.

With the aim of spreading and improving Tango Argentino, the group is a reference point in the city, attracting both those who already love it and those who wish to learn it.
