Tango Aires Marathons

🟧 5th Tango Aires Marathon – November 26–29, 2026 🟧

The 5th Tango Aires Marathon returns to Xanthi, Greece, from November 26 to 29, 2026, continuing a journey that brings together tango, history, architecture, and genuine hospitality.

This year, the marathon will once again take place in carefully selected historic venues across Xanthi, including the FEX House of Culture, the Foundation of Thracian Art & Tradition (Tobacco Warehouse Π), and, for the first time, the Old Town Hall. These remarkable buildings preserve the city’s architectural heritage and create a unique setting where Argentine Tango meets the cultural history of Xanthi.

Registration for the 5th Tango Aires Marathon is now open. On the event page, you’ll find everything you need to know about the marathon, including the venues, DJs, schedule, regulations, and the registration form.

The Tango Aires Marathons are part of a long-standing journey shaped by experience, hospitality, and connection through tango.

Each edition reflects a specific moment in time, while remaining rooted in the same philosophy: care for people, respect for space, and meaningful shared experience.

The Tango Aires group operates and develops its artistic and educational activities under the cultural umbrella of the Filoprodos Enosi Xanthis (FEX), a historic cultural organization with a long-standing contribution to the cultural life of the city.
This collaboration provides a meaningful framework for presenting Argentine Tango as a living cultural expression, connecting dance with education, music, and shared community experience.
